Royden Card Fine Art is a working studio as well as a retail outlet for Mr. Card’s paintings and drawings. A selection of his work including paintings, drawings and books is available to peruse or purchase at this corner of the art village. A professional artist since 1976, Royden Card relocated his studio to Kayenta from Payson, Utah.

Painting the desert landscape is a passion for Royden, as his inspiration comes from the Southwest United States and the hand-built structures of its native people. In love with the red rock desert since his youth, he has exhibited his paintings and poetry at the St George Art Museum in a show entitled “Redrock-Badlands-Sage,” which was the impetus for his book, “Desert Drawn, Visual & Verbal Sketches.” His work has been collected by the Smithsonian, the State of Utah, and several corporations and universities.
